elect.info is public by default. Anyone can browse candidates, committees, vendors, parties, races, and the maps — at aggregate and entity level, with data coverage shown on every figure.
Individual-level personal detail (who an individual person gave to) is access-controlled: it is never shown on the public surface, only counts and entity-level relationships. Aggregate dollar figures reflect corrected FEC totals; individual-donor detail stays access-controlled.

Why the individual line? Public panels show that, say, two donors in a precinct shifted party — as counts, on FEC-declared dimensions, with minimum-cell suppression. They never re-identify a specific neighbor. Individual detail is available to verified, entitled users under access controls, not on the open web.
